1. We complete all documents needed to establish your business as an official LLC.
We file your Articles of Organization
We file your Articles of Organization with the Secretary of State to legally incorporate your business.
We obtain your Federal Tax ID (EIN)
The primary purpose of an EIN is to allow the IRS to identify your company just as your social security number identifies you. An Employer Identification Number is a 9 digit code assigned to your company by the IRS. Obtaining an EIN is required before you can open a business bank account or hire employees on behalf of your company.
We create your custom Operating Agreement
We will build a custom operating agreement specifically for your business. An operating agreement states the framework of a business. It details the operations of a business and the responsibility of its members.
We file your Statement of Information
A Statement of Information is required to be filed with the California Secretary of State. A statement of information helps the state stay updated on changes in your LLC such as the business address or the names of the LLC’s members.
We serve as your Agent of Service
We will serve as your agent of service (registered agent) for your first year of business. A registered agent is a person or entity authorized to receive service of process and other official legal documents and notices on behalf of your LLC. This is the person or entity who will receive legal documents, government correspondence, tax forms, as well as notice of lawsuits on the LLC's behalf.
